I went to go see
Zack and Miri Make a Porno with Laura tonight and what a fantastic movie it is! Hilarious (all I have to say is: "Shut Up Before I *bleep* You In the Mouth!), awesome acting (
Justin Long is particularly awesome in this movie), unique story line, and most of all: amazing soundtrack, which brings me to the point of this post.
In the main love scene of the movie, a song by Live (Ed Kowalczyk's beautiful voice is ever-so-unmistakable) I had never heard of plays and I fell in love with it. When I got home, I looked up the movie soundtrack. No songs by Live. Then I figured, "Well, it must be off an album I've never really listened to" [I really looooove Live]. Found tons of spam-filled sites with the lyrics to the song, but no signs of discography origin. So, after lots of research, I found out it's called "Lift Me Up" and was an unreleased demo song off the original Throwing Copper--which I do not have, dammit. I have Throwing Copper, but not the demo!
I am quite disappointed that this gorgeous song is impossible to find. The closest thing I could find to satiate my desire to hear this song is this very raw-sounding YouTube video of "
Lift Me Up."
Enjoy this wonderfully rock-a-dellic song and I will be posting Halloween pictures sometime this week, for those who are anxiously awaiting to see this holiday's festivally hilarious get-ups.

I can't believe the soundtrack doesn't have it. What's the point of the soundtrack then?
Hmm. Sounds strange to me but I'll definitely have to check out this movie. I need a good laugh.
